COMPORTAREA METALURGICĂ LA SUDARE A OTELULUI
METALLURGICAL BEHAVIOUR TO WELDING OF X20CR130 STAINLESS STEEI
Behaviour to welding of X20Cr130 martensitic stainless steel can be evaluated by simulation of thermai cycles in association with metallographic analysis X-ray examination and microhardness testing.
Thermal cycles, simple or complex, were been followed by the stress-relief annealing.
The test conditions were determined the important modifications in characteristic zones structure. Residual tensions and hardness variations were observed.
In the heat affected zone (HAZ) were observed:
residual tensions, which can reach 45% of ultimate strength;
precipitations of chrom carbides and martensitic and bainitic lamellas;
microhardness: 550 HV1
significant decrease of residual tensions and microhardness after stress-relief annealing.
The experiments can allow the right welding conditions choice for the X20Cr 130 steel.

The effect of simulated thermal cycles (simple or complex) on ine thermoresistant steel was studied. In some cases, after the simulation, a stress relieving annealing was applied.
The metallurgical behaviour to welding was assessed by:
evolution of internai tensions of second degree;
The welding energy and the post-weld heat treatment were established.

HARD COAL MODERNIZING AND RESTRUCTURING PROCESS IN THE JIU VALLEY AREA
Inside mining exploitations which proved their feasibility, where there are assured the economical viability of its mineral resourses and also, the ore body and mining activities protection, it becarnes necessary to modernize the technology and the equipments for coal mining.
Among the various concernings of the Mining Resarch and Design Institute Petroşani from the last few years, with a view to assure a modern and most efficient mining through minimization of the investment effort, there are:
A. Modern technology and equipments for opening and preparation works;
B. Coal Exploitation Methods for Thick Beds with Higher Efficiency;
C. Solutions for energy efficiency increment;
D. Useof the computers technology in the field of coal mining.
The efforts for rehabilitaţion and modernizing of the technological lines requests a substanţial capital budget. AII these must reach to energy efficient technology, plants and equipments with high efficiency, at the same īime with management quality improvement and reaiise tight connections with the other institutions from this fieid of interest, in order to attain it's objectives and programmes as part of the field strategy and naţional strategy for energy.

STUDIES REGARDING DIFFERENT ASPECTS WHICH HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR CHOOSING THE HARDWARE COMPONENTS TO THE DIGITAL SPEED
This paper shows a few general or specific considerations concerning the main steps in designing a digital speed governing system. It will be shown the way in which the process engineer will choose the type of the hardware unit which is the most appropriate for the requested process condittons and then he will place the digital system within the process. He must specify de power supply features, the optimum operating regimes, plugging and unplugging conditions, communication protocols to/from the process, repairing methods etc. There are also presented aspects regarding the access levels for adjusting or modifying the process parameters and also an analysis of the main execution times for every basic equipment. This paragraph will nominates advantages and disadvantages in using each of these already shown solutions.

A FEW ASPECTS CONCERNING THE "ON LINE" CONTROL OF A POWER PROCESS. FUZZY LOGIC APPLICATIONS
At this time, the control methods and the tests made by the constructor of a switching device and also made by the user of that switching device (introduced in a high voltaje power system) are well defined and currently applied. But, after the assembly of that switching device into the power system, it appears the problem of low cost maintenance at a minimum fault risk and a very short "out of order" time. The answer to such a problem is a continuos monitorisation and diagnosis of the technical status of the electrica! device, by using special systems. This paper presents such an automatic system for monitorisation and diagnosis of a SF6 high voltage switching device.

Starting from the analysis of the generation and the accumulation of electric charges that take place in the tankers, I nave elaborated analytic calculations and modulated on computer several situations that really may appear:
- Filiing the cargo compartments with horizontal and surface pipes or using vertical filling tubes;
- Using the crown cargo discharge points around the washing nozzle, putting a metallic fiber in the cargo compartment from the upper side to the lower one;
- The modification of the steam generators that produce the inert gas;
- Using new substances in order to avoid electrostatic discharge.

Starting from this premise, this work presents the right application of systemic structural and funcţional modei of the electric systems in case of drive system with induction motor supplied by static converter of frequency.

APPROXIMATE NOMOGRAMMES FOR DESIGN CALCULATION OF MICROSTRIP WAVEGUID
Due to the fact that the literaturo on the history of science presents operating nomogrammes (Presser's curves), only in cases in which the dielectric is air we have to determine the nomogrammes by direct measuring on the used dielectric.
This paper comes to present a method of determination of these nomogrammes. The technique is based upon the work of Wheeler and this it uses the static-TEM approach which is applicable for frequencies up to a few gigahertz.

The paper presents some possibilities of complementary solution, i.e. one combination of photovoltaik solar plant with one fuel cell plant with hydrogen aiso one hydroelectric plant with one photovoltaik system and what can be done for a better efficiency and more attractively of this renewable energies.
ON TIME-FREQUENCY AND TIME-SCALE ANALYSIS OF RUNNING DATA STREAMS ĪN DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES
In the problems of the analyses of one-dimensional data streams there are two possible cases: the off-line and on-line analysis. Considering the latter and the case of quasi-stationary signals the short-time (windowed) Fourier-transform is one of the widely used methods. However, in this case the suitable window function is task-dependent, too, The other possibie approach - namely the Wigner-Ville distribution - unfortunately does not preserves the additive property, therefore it is necessary to suppress the appearing cross-product term. When considering the digital filtering approach instead of windowing, the open question is the suitable impufse response of the digital filter or bank of filters (very often the proposed solutions are linear phase FIR filters, Gaussian filters etc.) Recently a novei approach, the time/scale analysis of signals using wavelet functions could be used. The research efforts are concentrated mainly on discrete orthonormal wavelet bases and frames of wavelets. Not only the discrete wavelet case, but the more sophisticated continuous wavelet transformation and some filterbanks can be discussed in this framework. The paper gives a short overview of these methods.

DESIGNING AND TESTING A NUMERICAL PHASEMETER
The paper presents the process of conceiving, designing and testing a numerical phasemeter, used to measure the phase difference between two electric voltages. We can remark that even if the device is not very accurate, it has the advantage of being a simple construction, much cheaper īhan devices of higher precision.
It is thus recommended that the device be used when percentage-range precision is required, such us measuring the interna! angle in a synchronous machine.

The article presents an application of this method upon a system characterised through the Duffing equation. The system that īs coupled to the main system wīth a view to modifying the chaotic behaviour is similar to the so-called dynamic vibration absorber system.

The injection pressure is a very discussed and controversed factor. The opinion of some of the authors is that Ihe effect of the injecion pressure increase leads to the increase of the intrusion distance of the fuel, to the impact risk \ between the jet and the wail and to from the forming of the mixture in volume to the peiicular forming. The authors nave elaborated a theory according to which the increase of the injection pressure is good for the jet arrangement as the combustion to be ralized with a big efficiency. The increase of the injection pressure temperature and the fuel heating are having both a favourable effect on the engine efficiency. In this paper there is presented an experimentat study about the cornbined modification of the injection pressure and the fuel temperature, which means the improvement of the mixture and combustion phenomenom, and as a result the improvement of the performances of īhe direct injection diesel engine, with cup in the piston combustion chamber, type co and with the mixture forming into the pisto.

FUZZY ASPECTS OF SYSTEMS SCIENCE, SIGNIFICANT ELEMENT FOR DECISION.
Systems scientists generaily use precise numerical modeis, but in many cases it might be helpful to use modeis based on fuzzy logic, esperdaīly when dealing with wualitative aspects of systems. For example, when dealing with parameter uncertainty it is usuai to provide confidence ranges for numerica! outputs, but suppose that one carries out a Monte Carlo simulation for parameter uncertaintym and finds that in 40% of the simulation the system is unstabie? This paper presents severa! ways in which fuzzy methods could be used in systems science and describes inplementation techniques, such as was of combining muitipie variables into fuzzy classes.

Milking instaīlations through glasses achieve the milking cycle. During the exploatation period of 8~ 10 years they produce between 1,5-4 milions of cycles. Considering each cycle as a force of action on the nipples, when the action īs pleasant it produces a correct milking, when the action is unpleasant it produces a strong stress with serious consequences in the milk production and cow's health.
Miīking instaīlations must be continuously improved in order to achieve a correct miīking, to diminish the milking time and the electric power consumtion.
